I doubled the dressing/sauce, the pasta dried out as it sat. I added toasted pine nuts and thin slices of sun dried tomatoes in oil. I also cook the steak to rare, because when you add it to the hot pasta it cont. to cook.

I will definitely make this pasta and steak dish again, I hardly ever eat steak, much more a chicken girl, but I really liked it.

we love this dish- make it often-- but i am having trouble cooking the steak --
it takes forever-way longer than 7 min a side
since it is cooked on its standing sides only(where the fat is -not on the flat meat part -at least that is the way the video did it - are you all cooking it more like a reg. steak?

This recipe is stellar on its own and I used the extra dressing to marinate tofu or salads/leftover pasta - its great with both!

Absolutely everyone who has tried this at my house has raved about it. It is simple and delicious. It doesn't get any better than that.

I followed the recipe exactly and it came out wonderful. This is a great dish that can be done hot or cold and is not to expensive, especially if you get the steaks on sale. One note - be aware that the recipe does state to only use half of the dressing immediatly and use the remaining amount on the side. I was glad I paid attention to this because if I had used the entire amount it would have ruined the recipe. I did not add any additional suace but my husband did, so it is nice for people to add to taste. Also, my 2 yr old ate so much I though he was going to explode. Next time I will add some fresh tomatos.
