My pinch of red pepper flake is NOT a 1/4 tsp so unless you like it spicy, watch the video first & follow those directions. I made per the video directions except I reduced wine for 2minutes before adding rest of ingred. I didn't have a problem with runny sauce like other reviews. I added shrimp & pasta & let heat through 1-2min & pasta soaked up ALL my sauce & everything was coated nicely. FYI - It doesn't make gobs of sauce like an alfredo. Next time I might double sauce, make with 2%, and add some veggies like mushrooms & spinach or broccoli. Very good recipe. I would definitely make again but don't think it's worthy of 5 stars

I substituted the heavy cream with plain yoghurt, tasted great and made it healthier!

Recipe is good, however the sauce it came out runny (I'm the 2nd to say that. Next time I will decrease the wine to 1/2 cup and forget the clam juice. Also, after removing the shrimp I will add a chopped 1/4 onion for taste. This recipe is practically a variation of penne vodka and adding shrimp.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I did not add parsley, only the basil. Also, I added more red pepper flakes to make it more spicy. It turned out wonderful. I will definitely make it again.

This recipe was amazing. My husband and I couldn't believe we made this in our own kitchen. Use this one for someone you want to impress!

This is a wonderful recipe! I have made this for family gatherings the last two Christmases and it has been a really big hit. I probably go a little light on the red pepper flakes, but otherwise follow the recipe exactly. It is definitely a family favorite!! Thanks Giada for presenting such classy and enjoyable shows!!

I just made this dish last night for my husband and I and we absolutely loved it! It is going in the Rolodex of recipes that we use frequently. It was so easy and quick to make with that restaurant type quality/taste. This was a definite winner! Thanks Giada.

I cooked this dish for my family tonight and they loved it. Going back home to visit my family. I think I'll make it for my sister and her family.

Loved this recipe! I shared this dish with my family, and they have already asked for the recipe. I followed the recipe to the T, but the sauce was a little runny. Next time, I will let it simmer longer, or maybe use clam sauce instead of jiuce. But it tasted like a really good dish from a nice italian restaurant.
