Fresh herbs are the key on this one. I followed the recipe and had a little trouble waiting for the sauce to thicken. A few dashes of cornstarch did the trick to speed it up. It turned out delicious! I have yet to make a recipe from Giada that wasn't fantasic.

I made this dish for New Years Eve which we shared with friends. Everyone loved it! I added a pound of Sea Scallops to the recipe since one of our guests doesn't care for shrimp. Everyone raved and I will definitely be making this dish again. And the leftovers were just as good!

I made this last night for a quiet New Year's Eve dinner at home with my boyfriend. We both thought this was truly delicious! The use of fresh herbs is a must, it puts the sauce over the top. I followed the recipe exactly... using canned Italian tomatoes. FYI-the sauce will thicken on its own the longer you allow it to simmer. Fabulous! I will make this again for sure!! Thanks Giada!

We made this last night but forgot to pick up heavy cream so we substituted sour cream and half and half. It was delicious! We still want to make it again using heavy cream and a few more tomatoes. It's a keeper. Thanks for another wonderful recipe!

Terrific. So easy to make and delicious.
I also had to thicken the sauce with corn starch.

I also added some pesto paste for some added flavor as I like a punch up in the sauce. (try it You can get paste at any store.

Added yellow & red chopped peppers--nice color and some texture.
Also I used all fresh veggies rather than canned.

Not sure you need any of the above--but the recipe is so flexible you can add in to the mixture.

Awesome recipe Giada! Everyone loved it and I found it easy to make. I plan on making extra sauce next time. Left-overs are great, just warm in a frying pan and add a little milk and parmesan cheese to loosen the sauce. Tasty...

So flavorful. Even better the second day. Used light cream and a little extra red pepper flakes. YUM!

This was a hit with the in laws and hubby. I read most of the reviews first and before deciding to tweak anything, I made it exactly how it is written. After I tasted, I decided to add a little garlic powder and that amped up the flavor some. I also made the sauce first, kept it on low, then cooked the pasta. I think that added extra time of the sauce just hanging out for the pasta to be done thickened it up a bit. That and 1T of flour. Also, IMO I think it was too much oil and will probably use a bit less next time.
