Delicious, easy, healthy! This dish is very quick and easy to make. The sauce can be made in the time it takes the pasta to cook! I threw in some cooked shrimp to add extra protein. The meal made for great leftovers- great weeknight meal!

This was simply delicious. Lots of fresh flavors from the garlic and goat cheese. I added a few sun dried tomatoes from Giada's Target grocery collection to the spinach, goat cheese, cream cheese mixture. That gave it an extra layer of flavor. Absolutely outstanding recipe!!!

This was very tasty and very easy prepare. I had it on the table in 20 minutes! I omitted the cream cheese and doubled the goat cheese. Like the previous comments, be generous with the reserved pasta water and cut back on the garlic if you or your guests are sensitive to it.
I will make again and probably only use 1-2 garlic cloves. Pretty good for a go to weeknight meal!

I generally love everything that I have made from Giada but this one was not my favorite. It may be worthy of 4 stars if I tried it again and ate it right away. I made this for a pot luck and I would not recommend it. It became dry so fast. I didn't think this was going to happen because it was quite moist when it is first mixed. So, I'm giving it 3 stars because it was a pot luck flop. I also read some of the reviews from the people who said "too much garlic!" and I thought they were crazy because it's only 3 cloves and how can that be too much garlic for a whole lb of pasta? I understand what they are saying now. I would say that if you make this expecting a pesto effect and you are going to eat it right away then go for it. It does have a nice delicate spinach flavor on the finish that I liked. Also, make sure that your pasta is quite hot when you toss the spinach.

I poach the garlic (in the husk for a few minutes before putting it in any recipe. It's a must for this recipe otherwise the flavors are way out of balance. I also drop the cream cheese and added goat cheese. It's healthier, and has a more interesting tangy flavor. Also fyi, a good wine pairing is a Langhe Nebbiolo, or Bourgogne rouge, if you prefer white wine, do a Gewürztraminer, Pinot blanc, or vermentino.

Heavy on the garlic. My suggestion, cook the sauce after you make it. Also, add lemon. Both will make the garlic not as intense.

I loved this recipe and so did the 30 or so students that I teach cooking to in the mornings at school!

Just made this recipe. Following recipe, the garlic is too potent (and I love garlic. I even added some splashes of white balsamic vinegar and salt to try and offset garlic, but didn't mask it enough. When making this recipe, only use 1 clove. I also added blackened chicken on top of dish.

The dish was delicious. My family loved it and it was very easy to prepare. I'll definitely make the Penne in spinach sauce again.
