The goat cheese in the recipe ruined it for me. I had never tried goat cheese before and I wanted to, but now I know I don't like it. I just substitute the goat cheese with another cheese like brie or a very soft havarti and it is wonderful, I love the hearty whole wheat penne.

Quick and easy to make. Could up the amount of goat cheese for more bite to the sauce. Would probably cut back on the amount of garlic or roast it first - it was overpowering.

This Spinach Sauce recipe is so delicious. It will be something really different during Lent and even a great side for St. Patty's Day dinner since it's soooo green! I don't have a food processor so I had to use my blender and I needed to add the boiling pasta water while blending rather than adding later. Enjoy!

Awesome taste, super easy! I would recommend either cutting back on the raw garlic cloves or roasting the garlic before chucking it into the food processor. Otherwise, it can be rather overpowering!

This is a great, relatively light pasta sauce that is perfect when you want something different than the standard red. The sauce actually tastes somewhat like a pesto, with the green, garlicky base, but has a creaminess due to the cream and goat cheese -- it is also much lighter in terms of calories and fat than a traditional pesto. I have made it with fat-free cream cheese instead of reduced-fat and it still turned out wonderfully. I personally like the amount of garlic in the recipe, but that is a personal taste -- if you are not a "garlic person," simply reduce the amount.

The other great thing about this recipe is how quick and easy it is to make. Many hosts will claim that you can make a particular sauce while the pasta cooks, but this one you definitely can -- with plenty of time to spare. Saute a chicken breast and it is wonderful quick and healthy meal.

The was wonderful. My husband and I loved it. I don't think there was to much garlic, it was salty...which I loved. I don't have a food processor, so I had to blend it a bit. It didn't look as wonderful as it did on the show, but boy was it every tasty! Great!

I made this yesterday and loved it, though I made a shopping error and bought ordinary spinach instead of baby and I think that would have improved it. I will definitely make this one again - quick and easy.

I thought this dish was magnificiently delicious. I used Feta cheese instead of Goat cheese and it tastes great! My family loved it, it was very simple and quick to fix. I would make it again, and again.

Oh sweet lady, I love watching your italian pastries poke through and inspire my penne to greater heights. This recipe requires that I take the penne and work it till it gets nice and saucy. I'll put it in your oven until it's overdone and you can have the leftovers tomorrow.
