It's not bad but not the best...Don't use too much garlic, About 2 cloves will do.

I made this for my family last night and my husband actually liked it. Isn't something we would eat regularly, but knowing that it is healthy, really makes a difference. The sauce does get pretty thick too after time. I think I would make it as a side dish rather than a main course also.

I made this last night, and I loved it! It was quick and easy, and I normally have all of the ingredients on hand. I agree with many of the other reviews, that it has too much garlic in it. Next time, I am going to cut back to one clove. Or, might try some roasted garlic in it. This is for sure in one of my top ten!

sorry, but i usually do not like to give bad reviews. i just had to for this one. it was very easy to make, but the taste just didn't quite cut it. there really was too much garlic. and the cheese combination wasn't that good as well. i had to add a lot of other things to it to make it a little more easier to eat. i added chicken broth, a lot of salt, and cayenne pepper to help it along. i know i will never make this again. sorry Giada, your other recipes are much better than this one.

Enjoyed this penne with the Garlic Citrus Chicken. It's a no brainer and feels sooo healthy. No one knew they were eating fresh spinach. Great as a side dish.

Easy, Yummy, Garlicy. The spinach and goat cheese are an outstanding combo. Make sure everyone you will be speaking to has some, though, the garlic is abundant!!!

I made this tonight as a side as I am trying to eat healthy so I only had 1 serving (3/4 cup. Anyway - very filling and tasty! I can imagine it would be great with some shrimp or chicken.

I never thought Whole Wheat Pasta would taste so good. I really don't like goat cheese so I replaced it with riccota. This pasta dish was a big hit with my family. Way to go Gia

My girlfriend and I saw this recipe on TV and we decided to make it. It was quick, easy, not messy and the taste blew our minds. The spinach garlic sauce on top the penne is incredible. We will definitely be making this recipe pretty soon.

Over all I love this recipe!!

This is an excellent side dish. I made this to go along with the Citrus Garlic Chicken also prepared on this show, and added a salad. YUM!! Next time I will use only 2 cloves of garlic, though. We love garlic, but this was just a bit too much. I didn't have goat cheese, so I used some gargonzola cheese salad dressing which gave it a little bit of a bite. Be sure to save some of the pasta cooking liquid so you can thin out the pasta/cheese mixture if you need to. I used frozen spinach, also, and put half of it into the food processor with the garlic, cheese mixture. Very easy, and very good! Can't wait to try it with the goat cheese and fresh spinach! Thanks Giada!!!
