Easy, incredibly tasty! Loved every bite. Didn't have penne but used whole wheat spaghetti and it was just as good I imagine but will try again with penne!

I'm borderline on this too. I've never had much of a taste for whole-wheat pasta (too gritty, shame, but I love the fresh ingredients. I had to substitute the baby spinach for a baby spinach salad mix (baby spinach, baby greens, baby carrot slivers, etc. because my local grocery store had put baby spinach on sale and, naturally, it was out.
Prep and cook time was pretty easy, although I did feel like the garlic was a little overpowering (I, too, love garlic. Next time I will add less garlic, and probably add in some leeks and more salt.
LEFTOVERS: Reheated OK. Sauce wasn't nearly as creamy as it was when freshly cooked. Typical of leftovers, I guess.

I thought this recipe was absolutely great! i sprinkled some red pepper on top because i like the spice, but it was absolutely great! i love goat cheese and this was creamy and spinachy without anything being too overpowering. have made this lots of times for a quick dinner!

It was delicious! I added the cup of the pasta water into the blender with the rest of the ingredients rather than combining at the end. I also added a little more basil and it turned out DELISH!! Definitely making this again!

Just good, but not great. I think it needs some yummy salmon on top!

I doubled the quantity of goat cheese, added sauteed baby bellas and a 1/4 tsp of crushed red peppers (whichI had added to the sauteed mushrooms and about 1 cup of chicken broth. I thought the recipe was great. I generally question anyone who rates a recipe that they've altered, but I thought it was fresh, healthy and made for a light dinner. If one were to add diced chicken breast, if would make it an even sturdier dinner - for those who are looking for meat in their meals.

Great Recipe! Even with simple ingredients it tastes nice! Instead of goat cheese I added feta and replaced Cream cheese by mascarpone. Will definitely make it again!

This dish was awesome!!!!! It's simple, healthy and very tasty. My husband loved it. Instead of regular goat cheese I used herbed goat cheese. It tastes soooo good. =0
