This was ok but the steaks did not cook long enough and the sauce was a little salty and very rich. Would not make again!

O MY!..
The Sauce is absolutely decadent! I used more wine and only reduced by half to have a "saucier" sauce. How can you go wrong with bleu chez AND mushrooms!...and absolute re-do!!

This recipe is incredibly easy. I made it for our gourmet group last night and everyone enjoyed it.

This was so tasty, I quadrupled the recipe . My family loved the dish, it was so gourmet! The sauce is very rich, almost a little heavy with oil and cheese, but nevertheless delicious. The way Giada suggests cooking the fillets makes them turn out perfect! So tender. Make this meal if you really want to impress!! Everyone said that it was as good or better as a restaurant.

My step-father is a gourmet food server here in Las Vegas, so his palette is pretty impressive. Let me say that he was blown away by this recipe. I was unable to find the right mushrooms so I used just plan ones from the produce ilse, but they worked just as well. This recipe is awesome...

I thought this recipe was pretty gross. My cheese mixture was blue and separated. It was clumpy cheese and oil. Plus, I thought the steaks were bland.

I used New York Strip from the gril seasoned with salt and pepper and used this sauce and it was the best steak I have ever eaten!!!! Better than any restaurant!! The Gorgonzola is very strong but ever so flavorful!!!! Keep the great recipes coming Giada!!!!

This was amazing. I'd never cooked steak anywhere but the grill, and this was a wonderful way to do it. The sauce was out of this world. I couldn't find porcini mushrooms so I used baby bellas, and they were delicious. The sauce does separate pretty quickly after you've added the gorgonzola mixture to the shrooms, so make sure you are ready to serve IMMEDIATELY when you mix the sauce up. I will definitely be making this again - an easy way to impress someone :
