I made Giada's pine nut cookies for my sister's wedding day. This was my first try.My sister was totally shocked about the cookies and she liked it a lot. She asked me the recipe. This year I have given my sister a good and different wedding present . Thanks Giada for the recipe.

These cookies are good, but kind of on the bland side. Maybe I will use more of the ground fennel next time.

gaida gives us great recipes. my friends thought this was great. i thought it a little bland. Not bad-just bland. next time i might add a little anise flavoring and a little orange flavoring. dust with a bit of powdered sugar for looks. ps. i love her panna cotta, it a terrific end to a complex dinner.

I made these cookies yesterday and they turned out exactly like on the picture. The pine nuts literally melt in the mouth and the fennel seeds bring a wonderful freshness to the cookie. I used a tbsp of seeds instead of the one tsp since I love fennel flavor. These cookies are just wonderful.

I made these cookies (along w/the amaretti cake and panna cotta for a party. You would have thought I was a star pastry chef for all the accolades I received that night! The taste for the fennel seed was a wonderful surprise to everyone. Giada? You did it again girl! (by the way, I don't have a spice grinder, so I used my blender instead - worked fine Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Very easy to make as well as delicious. I substituted anise (which I had on hand for the ground fennel seed. I'll definitely make this one again.

these cookies were the best tasting cookies I have had in a long time. The texture was especially good and easy to work with and the fennel seeds ground gave it just enough special flavor. Mmmm good.

I made these cookies yesterday. They are simple, pretty and delicious. My Italian boyfriend loved them--very authentic! Feel free to add a little more ground fennel seed if you want a stronger flavor. Will make again for Cristmas! Thanks!
