Made this Pistachio, Cherry and Chocolate Tart twice. For Christmas dessert and for dinner with friends this past weekend. Everyone enjoyed the dessert. Will make this again and might trying using different dried fruit such as apricots and apricot jam instead of dried cherries and cherry jam.

I made a couple of tweaks - I used graham crackers with some powdered cocoa as my base. I used fresh pitted cherries in the tart instead of dried cherries. And I used dark cherry pie filling instead of the jam. It was delicious. I was worried it would be too rich, but it was just perfect. All of my guests loved it! I served it with fresh cherries & cream on the side.

Amazing - the biscotti for the crust is out of this world - so so so good - such an indulgence. Perfect for a decant treat to ring in the New Year! I was so glad there was a piece left over for the next day! Also, was out of pistachios and used walnuts, any combo would be a home run!

This was a hit with my husband for the holidays. He loves cheeries! The biscotti is a nice change for a crust. He has requested that I make it again tonight for company tomorrow! Thanks Giada

Beautiful for Christmas. Followed recipe exact. It was deliciously rich and got 12 pieces from the tart...that was more than enough for a single serving.

Very nice Christmas dessert. For the crust I did half almond, half plain biscotti. It's very very rich, but is nice for special occasions. I will definitely make this again next year!

I made this on Friday for a crowd. I used hazelnuts instead of pistachio and it was a huge hit. The biscotti we found were almond.... I wonder what other fruits you could use. My brother wants to try dried blueberries.

Just made this and put in the frig'... I am a bit worried about it...because she says to have an edge of 1/2 inch to 1 inch of cherry jam...no way will a 3/4 cup to that... I think you need 1.5 cups of jam. i wonder what it would be like with orange marmalade and almonds and chocolate. using orange rind in the chocolate. I will cross my fingers..

Absolutely perfect!! I love it!! This recipe is phenomenal...
I especially love the crust...I substitute the cherry to cranberry and the pistachio to macadamia because I happened to have them in my pantry...turned out delicious...definitely satisfying = thanks Giada..
