Easy, simple to follow. Gives a nice light dough that can easily be stretched.

REALLY??? 5 cups of flour? I wasted 10 cups of flour trying to make this dough. Not to mention my arms want to fall off. I checked other recipes and they call for 3 to 4 cups of flour. First batch didnt rise and the second one did nothing as well.

As with all dough's the moisture/dryness content will vary in your environment, that's why recipe calls for adding more H2o or flour to recipe when needed. I have made all main chefs pizza dough's & this is all time favorito! Giada you Rock

Such a great, easy recipe! I used half to make 3 individual Antipasto Calzones (Giada's recipe last night, which were AWESOME. I used the other half to make cinnamon rolls (12 small/medium this morning and used Giada's Mascarpone Frosting recipe. YUMMY! This pizza dough recipe will certainly be a major part of my recipe collection! Thanks Giada!

Today was my first time doing a pizza dough. I found the recipe very tasty and easy to do. However, I only used 4 cups of flour instead of 5 and added 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, it was really good!!! Thanks Giada, I will definitely continue to make pizza with this recipe!

I have tried a lot of different pizza dough recipes, but this one was the easiest (and tastiest. To hurry the yeast along, I do put a little sugar or honey with the warm water to speed things along. It's also easy to make 1/2 recipe.

I make this dough for family pizza night almost every week. The kids prefer it to every other pizza they've had. Love it - couldn't be easier to make, tastes great, and actually fun to knead the dough! Thanks Giada - you're the bomb!

Sorry, this dough was terrible. It was extremely tough. After making this pizza dough I started researching more pizza dough recipes and found others that were basically the same EXCEPT they called for 3 cups of flour rather than 5 cups of flour. That would explain why the dough was so chewy.

I tried this recipe yesterday about 2-1/2 hours before I had to go to work. I did it exactly according to the recipe. Well it came out perfect, when I got back home the dough was done and we had pizza that evening. The dough was perfect and my husband LOVED it. And I have one more dough ball for another small pizza. Thanks Giada!
