I have made these several times and they are always requested at my parties. Even my picky husband, who swore he hated gorgonzola, can't stop eating them. And my 3 kids, who hate tomatoes, will shovel these things in non stop. I will say that I make them smaller, more bite sized, by using a shot glass to cut the pizza dough. I just find them easier to eat.

I love this recipe. Easy and quick to make for parties. The first time I made it I followed the recipe exactly. For a person who doesn't cook/use much salt - it was a bit too salty. To me you get enough salt from the cheese. Now I just omit and it's amazing!

I served these at a party and they went very quickly. They are now requested at every gathering I attend. I love the flavor and the simplicity of this recipe.

These are little bites of heaven! I've made them too many times to count, and every time, the plate is cleaned.

These were very easy to make and delicious! My only suggestion is to keep a close eye on these little gems when they're in the oven, the gorgonzoa that melts off burns easily. They taste better at room temp so bringing them to a party is a snap. I will definitely make these again.

I made these for my second time and I made a few changes this time around, so I thought I'd post them.

First, I was concerned about how they would taste if I didn't serve them immediately. They were still great! It was probably at least an hour after cooking before we ate them and even the last few on the plate at the end of the event were still good.

I made my own whole wheat pizza dough (with a little parmesan in it so that changed the taste a little. First, if you are using your own dough, you have to remember to poke holes in it, I'm sure that the store bought dough tells you that, but I still wish she'd put it in the recipe. My aunt made these the first time I had them and she forgot to do that... yikes! Second, I found that they needed a very generous helping of cheese and I quartered the tomatoes so that I could put three quarters on them. They still needed more flavor, so I added some pepper and a little salt to the tomatoes which REALLY helped. If you make them and they seem bland, I'd recommend trying that.

I think that the homemade dough probably has less salt and given my choice of whole wheat, it needed to be kicked up a little more that I'd expect if you were using store dough (the first time I made them I used dough from our local pizza place.

I made these for entertaining a group of friends tuning into the Oscars last year, and they were a huge hit! My friends couldn't get enough of them and everyone wanted the recipe! Super easy too!

I LOVE the mixture of flavors on this recipe. There are never ANY leftovers. I have to hide some after I make them so I can have some too!! I make them every Thanksgiving also.

I was thinking to make this recipe easier I would buy canned flaky biscuits and bake them and them pull them apart and use that as the crust and then add the other ingredients on top!!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
