This was okay, but not great. I definitely expected more for the work involved... I will not make again.

This recipe is great! I have actually made it for dinner instead of an appetizer. I also by-passed the whole polenta making part of the recipe as my store offers pre-made flavored (basil, garlic etc. polenta in a tube. All I do is slice it and heat. It has so much flavor that way, I love it!!!!!

Used instant polenta (obtained at Whole Foods and cooled in 1/2 sheet pan. Used the scalloped cutter to form tartlets, but then cut each tartlet in half horizontally. Very easy to do.
Pesto mixture needed more "zip"--too bland.

These tartlets were tasty and a hit at a recent party. My only suggestion is that when you make these, have a recipe nearby (unless you can wing it for a strata to make with the leftover in-between pieces of polenta after using the cookie cutter to make tartlets. Otherwise, so much cooked polenta is wasted.

This was very easy to make and the presentation is beautiful, but the flavors are somewhat disappointing. The polenta had no flavor, while the chicken was over-powering. Not sure if I would try this one again.

The polenta was awesome, I added some chopped fresh basil at the end to tie the flavors together. I couldn't find a scalloped cutter anywhere,so I used a round one instead. The presentation wasn 't as pretty. Where can I purchase a scalloped edge cutter. Is the fluted the same as scalloped? Thanks Giada, I love your show.
