We made this as one of our Thanksgiving appetizers and it was the only thing that we didn't have leftover. It was so yummy, we just kept eating it until it was all gone!!
I'm making it again for Christmas!

Tasty, elegant, and easy to make. The sweetness surprised me. I've cooked with Marsala once before about five years ago and attributed it to meat recipes only. Glad to see I was wrong! I kept sneaking little spoonfuls of the delicious pan sauce. Can't wait to entertain with it!

I made this today for my husband and myself. It turned out great. Very tasty and easy to make. If the polenta is at room temperature, it might be a good idea to warm it up before putting the ragu on it, as someone suggested. Someone said that the polenta did not have any taste. It never does unless you add cheese or other flavorings to it. It is the base for the mushroom ragu. My polenta came out very firm. I did not cut the polenta into 36 pieces. Obviously that is very small bite size, which is fine, depending on what you want. I will definitely make this quite often.

I know a lot of people either loved or hated this dish, but I thought it was a fairly simple recipe and a wonderful way to incorporate new flavors into a party menu. I've made this dish over and over again - it's been wonderful every time.

I made these for SuperBowl, and they were not that great. Polenta is pretty bland in taste, I had added grated parmesan to get a little more flavor, extra tbsp. of butter. The mushroom mixture was really the best part. No one touched them at the party, and I ended up throwing them out. I would save this recipe for a small dinner function, not a party appetizer I would ever make again.

These are easy to make and look great. I put the polenta shapes in the oven for a few minutes with a little bit of butter on them before adding the mushrooms.

Did not care for this dish at all.
mushrooms were fairly tasty but all in all not a good dish to serve.
