This was a wonderful blend of sensations. The earthy taste of the mushrooms and the surprising creamy texture of the polenta made for a brilliant harmony of flavors. My polenta could have come out a little more firm in my opinion. I will have to work on that. Wonderful job, Giada.
p.s. I had a booth at the Big E and saw you there. I was so impressed with your gentle and kind way with the audience. I'm sure your parents are so proud of you. Keep up the good work.
