This fried chicken is so nice with the great lemon taste. it's lighter then normal fried chicken in my opinion, but I still love the chrunchy skin.

You won't believe how good this is. It is worth the money to use Extra Virgin Olive oil as opposed to some other oil. My brother who usually is not a fan of fried chicken said he loved it, and my family had no leftovers. Gotta love Giada!!!!

The chicken was moist and flavorful, and makes great sandwiches and/or leftovers the day after!

This dish turned out pretty well. First time I made fried chicken this good. Perhaps needs more salt. I put some in the flour but still not enough. I don't really taste the lemon flavor, but maybe it just helped tenderize it.

i only rated it a 4 because my husband didn't seem to like it at all. he had only 1 chicken and he didn't even finish that piece. plus there was a moment where he stopped n' looked afraid..and then said to me..."there's a weird, odd strong burst of lemon flavor in one spot." maybe cuz i poked holes in all the chicken to let the marinate sink in more. i used 4 pieces of chicken thighs since i have a small family. well despite my husband's reaction i still give it a 4 cuz i thought it was pretty tasty...my kids ate it w/ no problem either. only change i'll make next time is to use boneless chicken breasts w/ skin cuz for some odd reason no matter how cooked it looked outside and brown almost burned skin...it was still bloody in the inside of one.
