Tried with microwave popcorn....don't do it! The popcorn wasn't hot enough to blend with the cheese, and it all ended up at the bottom of the bowl :(. Waste of yummy cheese. I'm sure it will be delicious when we try it the right way!

I have been making this for years. If you want to cheat and use microwave popcorn just pop as normal and throw a good handful of cheese into the bag and give it a good shake. I often add some crushed red pepper flakes for some spice.

I guess it is not my thing for popcorn, no one liked it. Parmesan,Romano ect. are better to us, But Giada we still love you and your recipes.

My husband and I really liked the flavor of this popcorn. Low heat didn't work for me though; I had to turn it up to medium to medium-high to get the kernels to pop. We'll make this again!

I made a recipe very similar to this ith my sorority sisters all teh time! Just regular bagged popped popcorn and add Parmesan cheese. The prep is a sinch and you dont need to buy fancy ingredients if you hink you'd waste them! GREAT RECIPE!!! :-

tried this recipe because I was just plain tired of just plain popcorn. the taste is great, and it has quickly become a movie night staple for my husband and I. I use my air popper, then drizzle butter and shake cheese. (if you really ove cheese try CELLO brand cheese mix, it's a great combo of parmesan, asiago and pecorino.
