I watched the segment where she made this and she definately didn't use a 28oz can of tomatoes. Looked like half that size. Delicious dish anyway.

Nancy, sweetie...it's all about the food! This is a superb recipe. It will cause you to look like a great cook! Promise! P.S. - don't watch Sandra Lee or Rachael. They, sometimes display a little cleavage,also! Yikes! You mean MEN cook, too?!

Made this dish after seeing on TV. It was wonderful and so easy. I would think if you are not a port eater, then do it with chicken or even a light fish. The only thing I would change is not to add 28 ounces of the tomatoes...maybe 20 ounces. I served this with fetuccine and used to sauce and veggies to the pasta.
