I loved this. It was very easy to make and really looked and tasted gourmet. I am not very confident in the kitchen and this dish made me look and feel like a rock star.

This is always a hit with everyone. This year I did it a little differently---I make wine and had an orange chocolate port...so just in case I did one batch of sauce with a ruby port and the other with the orange chocolate--and it was a huge hit. My husband was extremely skeptical of how it would turn out, and he was quite pleasantly surprised!

Extremely good, not so difficult. Great recipe to impress. Absolutely love the figs, and I didn't even know it.

I had this meal for dinner over Thanksgiving (my sister-in-law made it, and went and bought her book with this recipe in it. I made it for Christmas Dinner with my parents and it was a hit! Great meal for a large crowd.

I made this dish for Easter last year and it was a homerun. Everything from the pork loin to the sauce was a hit. I am making it again this year for Easter. I doubled the recipe to make it for 17 people and it was fine.

This recipe is great for entertaining friends and family. the roast cooks up tender & moist, the sauce is just wonderful and easier than you might think. Leftover slices of roast (if you have any leftoversmake great sandwiches of slice into strips to toss over fresh salad greens and drizzled with you favorite light dressing. This is a win/win recipe.

Brilliant. I really loved this, as well as my family. I made it with fresh figs, and then added a drop of sugar. I used 8 like she asked for, but I think that next time (there will definitely be a next time if I use fresh ones again, I will use a little more. To go along side, I made Nigella Lawson's Risi e Bisi... Yum!

So easy and has 5 star restaurant quality taste! I rolled chopped figs in chicken breasts and used the leftover sauce the next night and that was great also!! Highly reccommend!!!
