The wonton wrappers were way slimy even when I only cooked them for 3 minutes and there was way too much prosciutto in the mix for me. Perhaps it was the brand of wonton wrappers that I used but it did not taste good. It ended up slimy and salty - not a good combination. The only way I could remotely save it was by pouring tomato sauce over it and covering it with cheese. Plus it did take a good amount of time to put together for a dinner that mostly ended up in the trash. I was really hoping I could actually make pasta with wonton wrappers but I suppose not.

I have all four of Giada's cookbooks, and have tried many of her recipes. This is literally one of the most delicious (and really not that difficult meals that I have ever made. My husband always requests this dish if I am cooking for a special occasion. The cheese is definitely the most flavorful addition, so make sure to be generous!

A few tips for success with your ravioli. First, just use a small spoonful of the mixture or you may have trouble making the edges line up. Second, make sure you completely seal the edges so no water can get in and no filling will come out.

    Enjoy!

    Flavor - awesome!
    Technique - not so awesome.

My raviolis completely disintegrated within 30 seconds of being dropped in the boiling water. I was really happy that I only tested two of them. I ended up pan frying the rest in a little olive oil. Made for some crunchy wontons, but once you put sauce on them, you barely notice the crunch :

Husband really loved. He's Italian and loves his pasta and prosciutto. I'm Irish and can't cook! This recipe was so easy, only tedious; stuffing each individual ravioli. Well worth the time. May even try this recipe out on my in laws! Make sure to coat the ravioli with the butter sauce before they cool and stick together.

I only used 1/2 pack spinach and I baked mine instead of boiled but this came out excellent. Even my husband, who don't eat spinach, liked it.

Very easy to make and delicious! I thought the butter sauce would be too bland, but it was actually the perfect compliment to the strong flavored filling, and it let the flavors in the filling stand out. Loved it!
