I wanted to love this recipe so much, but I just found it lacking a little. I couldn't figure what it needed but definitely something!

I added some whole cloves and a cinnamon stick in with the pumpkin and broth mixture, really brought out the pumpkin flavor!

i thought this risotto was delicious. we paired it with a herb crusted pork tenderloin and a light vinaigrette salad. it was my first time making a risotto - it does take some attention and time to make sure it's just right. since this was just a dinner for two of us - i will probably half the recipe next time.

I was so excited to try this combination for risotto but it left me a little disappointed, it was missing something. Also, 2 mins is a little too long in between pouring your broth/pumpkin so it wasn't al dente enough for my taste. So I would suggest 1 minute. I am going to try it again though because maybe I did something wrong.

I'm constantly trying new risotto recipes because my husband loves risotto and I must say this is the best recipe so far. The mix of all the ingredients creates a very well balanced and rich flavor. The sweetness of the pumpkin and the saltiness of the parmesan and bacon balance each other out. Delicious!

This was the hit of the meal! I bought the wrong kind of goat cheese, but that did not hamper the taste, all I can say is WOW

Excellent! I made this without adding the goat cheese, only crumbled 2 pieces of bacon over but added a bit more parmigiano-reggiano and it was perfect! I shared with my neighbors from Italy and they loved it! Absolutely recommend.

Very tasty dish! I made this recipe without adding bacon, leak, or goat cheese, and it was still delicious! I substituted the herbs for fresh basil and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this recipe.
