Even if most do not like lamb, this recipe adds just the right flavors to make it scrumptous! Great Easter dinner for family.

I loved this Pesto! I made it with toasted Macademia nuts and that tasted wonderful! My boyfriend didn't like it as much - he thought it had too much basil, but I have made it a few times I liked it so much.

The lamb by itself is wonderful. I cut it into small chops and then grill it instead of putting it in the oven. The pesto gives a nice complement and round the dish really well.

i have never tried to make or ate lamb before and this turned out PERFECTOO!!! thank you Giada! : the only thing i had a problem with is that i bought already CUT rack of lamb, so i wasn't sure about how hot and hot long i should leave them in the oven (they're cheaper than the whole rack of lamb, gelsons meat
so i turned it up about 20 degrees and did it so they turned out medium rare, and i couldn't ask for anything easier and TASTIER!!
and the pesto!!! turned out great-- i just brushed the top of the lamb with a thin layer(you don't want to cover up the taste of the delicious lamb, and saved the rest for sandwiches, it is so fresh and great!!

I love lamb so maybe this review is partial to that fact but i found this to be so well seasoned and tasty. I didn't use a rack since I couldn't find it anywhere. So I used lamb chops instead. But still tasted great!

I made this for myself for Valentine's day while my boyfriend opted for a steak. He regretted it the minute he had a bite of my dinner, and I regretted giving him that bite because he ate most of my food. If you can find a way to make the pesto more creamy I would recommend it!

The lamb was outstanding!!!...but the pesto was...I will now quote my husband "It could choke a goat!" It completely overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. We tossed out the pesto sauce. Without the pesto sauce the meat was delectible and I seasoned it with Paula Deen's house seasoning which is merely garlic powder, salt and pepper. I served this with some steamed asparagus and homemade hollandaise sauce...and it was soooo gooood.

I have made this recipe 5 or 6 times now, and each time it is delicious and everyone raves about it. The lamb is juicy, perfectly cooked, and the pesto has the perfect flavor for the lamb.
