This is just way to easy for the wonderful treat that you get. We all loved this one. It was gone the first night. We will be making this one for years to come and trying lots of fresh berries for the topping.

i used a 9 inch round tart pan to make this and also made it with half blueberries and half raspberries. i think she did this on another show with that combination, versus what's listed in the recipe here, or maybe i am getting my shows confused. oh well, i only had one slice left to take to work for lunch, after i made it. it is really easy. i would make this again, and i also read someone using individual puff pastries as opposed to the sheet. i will have to give that a try next time. this is a keeper. thanks, giada.

I love this dish for a fast and easy crowed pleaser. In puffed pastry I like traditional pastry cream but I have used this simple go-to recipe over and over. Everyone loves it and the "wow" factor speakes for itself.

I made this for my birthday dessert! I really liked it but my sister wsan't a big fan, she claimed she tasted the almond liquor too much! But I loved it! Very fancy and a great way to impress anybody (except my sister!
