Giada - I made this dessert twice. The first time, I didn't let the pudding cool in the tray of water - so it seemed that the custard was not as smooth. But, the second time I made it... I followed your instructions to the T and it was absolutely delicious. My Fiance wants me to make it again. Jennifer

I will try anything that has Giada's name on it, but this was the only recipe that I have ever been disappointed with. I admit however that I may have messed it up. I was busy getting other things ready for dinner and the milk and cream boiled on me. I pretty sure that is a bad thing. I have never made a custard before but I think It didn't set right.
I made two batches, one per her recipe and another substituting blackberries for raspberries. The blackberry version tasted better to me. Took me an hour of running around to find the rose water. Try you local health food store is my recommendation.
I look forward to trying this again when I have more time to pay attention to everything and make sure it comes out right. I also want to try and make it using chocolate YUM!

This was so yummy my boyfriend made this for me for Valentine's days and it was so yummy! Instead of using rose water he used almond extract which was just as good!

I made these yesterday for my parents and husband in honor of Valentine's Day. I was worried that my father wouldn't care for it as he is not always a fan of fruit "in cooking" (as he calls it. He ended up loving it! The rose water added a lovely hint of rose in the background and really complimented to raspberries. The recipe was easy and delicious! Thanks, Giada! Pretty much every new recipe that I try these days comes from your show or one of your cookbooks!
