This is a great summer recipe.

Instead of just painting the jam on the ladyfingers, get soft ladyfingers and dunk them in the jam mixture - this saturates the cake even further.

Made the desert less than 24 hours in advance. It is delicious-----but not pretty!! All asked for the recipe but it is a lack luster presentation.

really delicious!! my guests loved it. Very easy to make as well. Next time, I'll not make it the nigt before since the soft lady fingers(trader joes became a little soggy.

The price of raspberries caused me to sub. strawberries.. next time will buy raspberries (no prep. required. None of us drink alcoholic bevs. so used 1/2 Grand Marnier & 1/2 orange juice + 1 tsp. zest. This was absolutely terrific & so beautiful to serve (used a round crystal bowl 10" x 4" deep. If you want to impress an Important Person, you must prepare this!

I love raspberries, so I thought this tasted good. But I think it would have been better with strawberries, and I think more people would have enjoyed it. I had a huge party and this dessert was hardly touched. It does turn out well though, and the presentation is lovely.

made this dish the first time for my mother to demonstrate my newly learned cooking ability. it was excellent. if you dont want to purchase a large bottle of grand mariner - the tiny double shot size bottle at the liquor store is just about right. if you are looking for a fast, easy and decadant dessert give this a shot.

Raspberries being so expensive out of season, I used apricot preserves mixed with limoncella (a lemony liquor over the ladyfingers and strawberries as the fruit. I'm going to do this again with blueberries as it took to the modifications extremely well.

Made this at a gathering and everyone loved it. You could hardly taste the alcohol and it wasn't too sweet either. Thanks for the great recipe!
