1/8 cup of sugar per smoothie does not make it unhealthy. Fruit and yogurt are healthy. Delicious!

I have made this shake a few times. Both times I did not add sugar. Instead I added a teaspoon of Honey. Next time I will make it without any added sweetness because the apple juice gives this shake an ample amount of savory sweetness. I can't wait to freeze a batch of this as ice cream!

I love this recipe!! Super simple to make and the taste just hits home. Reminds me of an upscale smoothie shop (is there such a thing?. I am sorry to say that I have not tried changing the recipe at all, though I don't see the point in doing so, the taste is all there! Sugar doesn't bother me: if you are looking for a healthier smoothie keep looking. Fantastic, simple to make. Revs up any morning and gives me the energy I need.

One star because all that sugar makes this drink unhealthy.

Tried making this with bananas and OJ instead of raspberries and apple juice. Didn't taste quite right so added sugar (I had started out with no sugar. It was okay, but if you're going to substitute, do NOT use bananas or OJ. I'm sure it would have been delicious otherwise.

I live in Michigan and I have several bags of blueberries in the freezer so I followed your recipe except used blueberries. It was wonderful! The only other thing that I changed was using regular whole milk yogurt instead of Greek. This smoothie is so very very GOOD!!! I wonder how would it be with some rum in it???

Easy to make and not too sweet. I used fresh berries which made the flavor better. Would make again but would try different juices since the apple juice didn't add much.

I made this with banana's and some left over fruit punch I had of my kids. It was amazing, and my 2 year old and 4 year old loved it. Wonderful recipe! I can't wait to get more fruit and make more smoothies for the family!

Delicious and a very forgiving recipe. I used regular yogurt instead of greek yogurt, still delicious. Sometimes I'd use frozen strawberries instead of raspberries, and it marries very well.
