This was such a delicious and filling way to start your morning! I altered it just a little bit by using the fruit I had in the house to give me more fruit. I also halved it as I was the only one drinking it. I used fresh raspberries, and frozen blueberries, and 1 small banana and added about 1/2 TBSP of flax seeds. I actually forgot to add the vanilla but I am sure will be just as tasty with it.

This smoothie is terrific! My entire family enjoyed it and the yogurt really balanced out the sweetness. Very good!

Too much vanilla if you're using the real thing. Maybe it is better with imitation vanilla extract . . .

This smoothie is outstanding! One of the best I've ever had, I made this just as the recipe says and then froze the rest(because there wasn't enough for a drink into little popsicle molds an those were great! Love this recipe Giada! Always great! :

I liked this recipe a lot, though i did tweak it. I used vanilla sugar to make the simple syrup, and added lemon zest to it. Also used regular yogurt b/c i didn't have greek. Also didn't have Apple juice, so i used some homemade limoncello. Came out really well, with the right amount of sweetness. Thanks Giada

i made this version of the smoothie and now i can't start my day without a smoothie. i have the method down and i play with the fruits. strawberry banana is my flavor of the week. i've always eaten greek yogurt so it's great to have a new way to enjoy it. i've thinned out honey with some hot water as well which tastes great. PS. the travel bottle is at target for 10$. i got real excited when i saw she had those on the show. i used one for water and picked up a 2nd one for smoothies.

This is by far the best smoothie recipe out there! I have used the same recipe and substituted many different kinds of frozen fruit and it is a winner every time! I have found myself having to make multiple batches (because this makes enough for about three tall glasses in order to take care of the demand! Thank you Giada! You are fabulous!!

I substitued low-fat plain yogurt for the Greek yogurt and strawberries for the raspberries. It is wonderful and refreshing! Enjoy :
