I just made this recipe and have already shared it with as many friends as possible. What an easy, fast, and delicious vegetarian main dish! I didn't miss the protein at all with the addition of the toasted walnuts. It was simply amazing!

I made this recipe today & found it was such a nice change from the normal red sauce or cream sauces that I always make. it was nice & light but still delicious. I had read the reviews so I was concerned that it might be a little too simple & bland so I added some sliced baby bella mushrooms & shallots when I was browning the butter. I used a 4 cheese ravioli and substituted the walnuts for some toasted pine nuts that I had in my pantry. I threw some parsley on top at the end & was very satisfied with my lunch! I will definitely make this again.

This made a lovely sauce to go over smoked mozarella ravioli I had. My entire family loved it! I did substitute pine nuts for the walnuts and it gave the dish an excellent crunch.

I was a little apprehensive trying out this recipe. I'm not a big fan of balsamic vinegar. BUT is turned out delicious!! It was just the right amount of flavor and the walnuts was a great crunch to the mix. I used butter squash ravioli from Whole Foods and it came out heavenly. The sweet taste of the squash with the slight bitter tastes of the vinegar was a great match. I recommend!

This was really quick -- the longest part was getting a big pot of water to boil. There are only a few ingredients and all of them things we had on hand. It was really delicious -- a little sweet and tangy from the vinegar, nutty from the browned butter and nuts, which also add crunch. We grated a little extra cheese, so we didn't use quite as much salt. Just wonderful -- be careful when adding the vinegar because it will foam up a bit.

Maybe my kids just don't like balsamic vinegar--but this was a big flop with my whole family. Thanks anyway.

This recipe is one of my all-time favorites. Its easy and the best comfort food. The problem is that I ate the whole recipe by myself, it was so good. The browned butter gives a wonderful nutty flavor, and the balsamic vinegar balance it with acidity. I added even more vinegar, since I really like that taste. I didn't have ravioli so I just used egg noodles, but I bet the ravioli would send me into orbit!!

I tried this recipe and burt the butter the first time! LOL I was not paying attention to the time. Other than that, it was a very easy meal to whip up, especially with the pre-made ravioli's. I got chicken and cheese ravioli's from Costo and they were great.
I also used a very sweet balsamic and recommend adding sun-dried tomatoes to this meal.
Thanks Giada for a easy and fast meal! :
