It's very heavy so i recommend for the fall and winter. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it!

We browned the butter in the same pan we crumbled some Bob Evan's Italian sausage & it was ridiculously good. Also did a combo of mushroom ravioli & cheese ravioli. The mushroom-filled pasta went exceptionally well with the toasted almonds and sausage.
Great for a quick dinner--felt "gourmet" without a lot of work. Definitely adding this to my favorites list

For those of you that rated this recipe as 5 stars, what quality of balsamic vinegar did you use? Also, it seems like there is a consensus that mushroom ravioli works the best.

I hate vinegar and I refuse to cook with it. This recipe has ravioli, which I love, so I tried the balsamic vinegar. This tasted great!
I would reccomend this to anyone. It's great for lunch or dinner. And its great for a family or a single person.

I really think that it did not have a lot of flavor, I was pretty disappointed.

I am a balsamic vinegar addict, so I thought this was heavenly. I used mushroom ravioli, mmm. I read some reviews here before making it, and I too substituted pine nuts for the walnuts and used a combination of olive oil with the butter. It was such a nice change from a red sauce-not that I have anything against red sauce, but sometimes you need a change. But yes, BE CAREFUL when adding the vinegar to the butter! I think I'll make this for lunch again tomorrow.

I made this for my boyfriend last night and he loved it. I made it with a wild mushroom ravioli and it was amazing! I am adding this into my favorite dishes. It was so easy and delicious!!! Thanks Giada!!!

I was watching this show one day and I saw Giada cook this and I was hooked!!! I do not cook on a regular basis, the kitchen was not for me, but this looked so easy and I wanted to try it. This was so easy to make and my fiance absolutley loved it. I have cooked it twice. I love this show, it makes me want to cook! Thank you!

This recipe is a great last minute/weeknight meal. The nuts add a little extra flare to a rather plain dish. Also, my one year old loved the ravioli, so I'll definitely be making it again.

I liked the idea for the sauce... I used just regular cheese ravioli, maybe that's why I wasn't very impressed. But I'm willing to try again with more exciting raviolis!
