I love to make Giada's dishes. They always come out great and are so simple to make. I make this dish all the time. I make her marinara sauce in huge batches and freeze it. So I have everything I need for this recipe on hand. This is always one of those dishes that isn't planned. It is great for a busy weeknight, when you want something that tastes great in a short amount of time. This is delicious and the entire family enjoys it.

This recipe was an absolutely delicious meal! When I first measured out only 1 cup of marinara sauce, I wondered how this would be enough for 6 people. However, once you add the ricotta and a little pasta water (we only used about 2 Tbsp of water, it was easily enough for 6 servings. This sauce is very rich so a little bit goes a long way. The fresh basil was delicious as a topping but could be eliminated if it is not readily available. Other than adding a little minced garlic to the marinara sauce while it is simmering (my husband and I are garlic lovers, I would not change a thing about this recipe. For those of you watching your weight, you could easily use part-skim ricotta (I did and it was perfect and use whole wheat pasta rather than ravioli. Great work Giada!!!

I love ricotta cheese, so this was right up my alley! Perfect for a quick after-work dinner when you don't want to be in the kitchen much, but still want a great meal! Very tasty! Thanks Giada!

I used roasted chicken ravioli, my local grocery store was out of spinach. It was quick and easy and not to bad on the calories either! Enjoy!

I followed the receipe to a degree but used a combination fresh spinach and lobster ravioli .Threw in a dash of chili powder and cayenne pepper into the sauce just for heat and doubled the amount of fresh basil. It was very good. My wife liked the spinach and I liked the lobster ravioli. The sauce was favorful and creamy. I'd try it again when we need a quick dinner.
