i always thought risotto was something difficult to make only because it costs an arm and a leg to order it in dining places! this recipe proves that its actually not at all that difficult and i will never spend another penny to order risotto now knowing that i can make it myself and it tastes great! my friends loved it too!

This was the first risotto i had ever made. It was amazing in every way. The peas gave it a little pop, and the way the chicken broth and red wine combined was so delicious. I've made this 3 time since.

Great, easy recipe - creamy, tasty! Added store-bought shredded carrots for more color/presentation. Served with rib eye steaks - yum! Can't wait to use this to experiment with other flavors.

Wasn't too sure how the red wine would work with the color, but it was fine. Don't expect the typical white risotto, though. The flavor more than makes up for the dark color.

Very interesting flavor. Alone, it was good, but I wasn't blown away. However, I served it with a tenderloin steak and together, it was deliciious.

Great buttery flavor with an incredible creaminess. Made it four days ago and have been craving it ever since.

I thought this recipe looked easy to make and it was! Not only that, but it was quite wonderful! This was a real hit with my family. Giada is right, risoto really is easy to make! One thing more, don't skimp on the cheese because that really makes it great!
