Fantastic!! I followed the recipe to the T. My family loved the amazing sauce with steak. The smoked paprika gave this dish a delicious twist that we all enjoyed... what a treat!!! Thanks Giada for sharing and teaching us to cook healthy Italian dishes! You are awesome!!!

I thought this was great! I had to substitute the smoked paprika for regular, but loved the flavors and texture! =

Great recipe! We love the smokey flavor of the sauce and have made it many times. I now incorporate smoked paprika in my steak seasoning too. The sauce is delicious as a side item with simple seasoned steak though.

I'm sorry, but I tried this recipe, threw the sauce down the drain and just ate the steak. It was impossible to get past the overwhelming 'flavor' of the smoked paprika. It was so reminiscent of the 'fake smoke flavoring' that is added to so many foods - to their detriment - that I'm sorry I tried this recipe. At least, now, I know that I dislike smoked paprika! I'll stick with regular paprika, thank you very much.

Excellent!!! I made a couple of modifications - I browned a pork tenderloin with a little garlic powder, salt & pepper in olive oil before roasting in oven. Then I sautéed the onions, garlic & added 1/4 red wine to scrape up the brown bits. I also used a whole Habanero pepper (we like things hot in Central Texas. I did cut back on the smokey paprika about 1 1/2 tsp. It was so delicious on the juicy pork tenderloin. It makes so much sauce, I divided it up into smaller servings & popped it in the freezer. I agree - this sauce is so versitile - you can spice up any meal. a nice change to a "tomato" base sauce. Thanks Giada!!

Deeeeelicious! Used bison flank steak instead of ribeye - a little healthier. It was perfect!

We made this with another chili and an extra dash of Smokey paprika. Complimented the steak perfectly. If you like a full flavored and somewhat spicy dish, I can't recommend this more.

Wonderful, I made this & poured it all over hot pasta. It tasted so fresh, much nicer than jarred arrabiata. I only ever put a pinch of salt & pepper when recipes call for more, so my seasoning was just fine. Also, I put one serrano pepper & one jalapeno pepper, deseeded - for the perfect amount of heat.

This was a great recipe. The sauce was amazing with the steak. Saved the rest of it and out it in the freezer since we had so much left over.

Good but not great! I found the sauce a little bit salty. Next time I will reduce the salt by at least a half teaspoon. I am going to use the remainder of the sauce on grilled chicken and fish as it is low calorie and very tasty Will definitely make the diet tasty but guilt-free.
