I read the previous reviews and added lemon zest into the pancake batter however the taste was lost as I put a little bit of rose water in the syrup. The syrup was very light and delicious and I added more water to dilute the sugar and honey. I will not add rose water to syrup next time or if I do it will be a dash (its my first time cooking with it. The pancake mix I had was multi-grain so the pancake was a bit grainy but very filling and soft. Also, I used fresh blueberries and skim ricotta cheese and it worked out well. I think next time I will add more lemon zest in the batter. I still have a lot left over...my partner and I could not eat more than two each.

I couldn't wait to try these, spent a lot on ricotta cheese and blueberries this time of year! The pancakes never set, so we put them in the oven and then they got hard........we just had ham for breakfast, waste of money. :(

This recipe is super easy and full proof. The pancakes come out light and fluffy. Way to go Giada!

I would think that a recipe from food network would give me a full recipe rather than relying on pancake mix...

I LOVED these! I will NEVER make regular pancakes again. The creamy (not at all dry texture and the slight saltiness from the ricotta made these pancakes the best, by far, I have EVER had! I can't wait to make these again!

Love these! I hated dry tasteless pancakes, but these are simple and to die for! My grandson and I did a little twist and put orange extract, orange zest, and choclate chips! what a hit! thats only one of a few variations we tried. thank you Giada!
