Just an absolute wonderful dish! Super easy to make, with not a lot of ingredients. My family loves it. Thank you Giada & Food Network!

Super delicious and easy to make!!!! The favors are super savory and everything just comes together perfectly. Just two quick tips
    1. The onions might take less than eight minutes to become translucent so watch them carefully.
    2. For better pasta flavor, let the mixture of the sauce, meat and pasta rest on the warm stovetop for 5-10 minutes. The pasta will absorb the sauce and meat flavor, making the dish even better
This one has become one of the new family favorites! Amazing!

Yummy!!! here are my changes! I skipped the wine since I dont drink really I dont ever bother buying for recipes, I mixed half red sauce and half alfredo sauce. my hubba bubba dislikes red sauce on pasta, next time ill just toss in a 1/2 cup of heavy cream! I wanted to skip the carrots since I dont really like them but I didnt since im cooking for a toddler. They taste really good in the steak juices so that was a happy surprise. I will definitely make it again. Its a great recipe for left over steak/pork roast.

I accidentally dropped my salt box in my sauce! no more salt box for me, im going back to the shaker!

Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. I used a store bought marinara this time but next time I will use a homemade one. This is another 'keeper' recipe from Giada.

I made this based on the reviews and was not at all impressed. I cook for my family almost every night using recipes from Food Network and this was so far my least favorite. Not something I would ever try again.

My boyfriend wanted steak, and I wanted pasta, so I thought this would be a great dish to serve. It was actually quite easy to make, and even halving the recipe made too much for us both. I might try adding sauteed mushrooms next time (throw em in with the onions!

I halved this recipe and it still turned out really well - it fed three hungry people that night, with a large serving leftover for my lunch the next day. My sauce ended up being really thick (I used a homemade, thick marinara sauce so I think I would dilute it with more beef broth next time. I seasoned my rib-eye with lots of salt and pepper and grilled it on the bbq to medium-rare. It was perfectly done, as the meat does continue cooking in the sauce, and it turns out very tender. I'm a big meat lover so I think I would make more steak next time (since halved, I only used one rib-eye. This recipe was fairly easy to make, but there was something missing from the taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint. I still liked it a lot and would definitely make it again.

This is a great idea..I used a NY strip (less fat..I had a wonderful homemade sauce in the freezer I had created back in the summer with fresh tomatoes..Did sub zucchini instead of carrots..Topped it off with the parm cheese and black olives..Husband and I both loved it..
