Although I thought this recipe was good, it was not my favourite of Giada's recipes. I might make it again, if asked by a family member, but not on my own accord.

This was surprisingly robust and very tasty. Everyone wanted seconds. Best of all there's no meat! It's difficult to find a hearty vegetarian dish that isn't dripping in cheese. It's easy to get together when short for time if you have the ingredients on hand. I added zucchini and a small japanese eggplant that I had on hand. So clean out the fridge, and go for it.

I couldn't find dried porcini's, so I just used baby portebellos. Since the recipe called for using the water that soaked the porcini's, which I didn't have, I tossed some plain water in. The result was pretty bland. Maybe some ckn broth would have been better. Dish was good enought for seconds, but lacked some flavor.

This dish was very flavorful and easy to make. I made it as a main course for dinner. However, since it doesn't have any protein, it's not really filling enough to be a main course. Yummy side dish!

Easy to make but with complex layers of flavor. A hit.
