Seeing Giada make this inspired me to buy a breville juicer. The first juicing recipe I tried was this one! As someone who has never made a "green" juice, I was a bit intimidated; however, it was DELICIOUS! The citrus and greens worked really well together.

I'm not one to like a strong flavor of ginger, which this juice had, but I must say that this juice won me over! I love this recipe...it's a keeper, for sure!!! The flavor is amazing!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed, promise!

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this. Like one of the posters below, I had a small taste of the spinach and it was atrocious, so I was worried. My only recommendation would be to add a smaller piece of ginger as the taste can be overpowering if you're not used to it. This juice is outstanding!

Starting a Master Cleanse, so veggy juices are all I take in on the second day. Have been wanting a juicer, but really expensive...found a brand new Jack Lalaine one (189.00 for $50 on Craiglist...never been used...it was brand new! Loved this juice...will make it often. I added half a squeezed lemon and it was perfect! The apples are definately important here, as they are the sweetness of the drink. I use my pulps, etc for composting!!!

I used Fuji and it was good
I bottled the juice and took it to work. when I opened the top to drink it, it smelled like gas had been passed
prep time definitely not 5 minutes, though. it took me about 20 minutes, washing, chopping, and cleanup

She used Gala apples. Said you could also use Red Delicious but she used Gala. The green juice doesn't look appetizing but it tastes great, especially over ice, as she recommended. Will make again, enjoyed this and felt great after drinking.

She did not use granny smith apples. She said they were too tart!! I think it was McIntosh apples!! This was fantastic!! I might use 1/2 of a lemon next time as well!!

Does anyone remember if she used granny smith apples? I wish there was video of this episode. Can't find it anywhere. I think I recall her using granny smith apples.

Love it! So easy and deliscious. On the show, Giada used a whole lemon. I used a whole lemon as well, but next time will only use 1/2. Still came out good though. I did omit the ginger because I'm not a big fan of it. This recipe is a keeper.

This was amazing. The green color gives you a little pause but the taste is excellent. I tasted the spinach juice as it was coming out. It was awful, so i was worried,. But the applies, ginger and lemon provided the right balance. It is now my go-to vegetable juice. Thanks Giada.
