I used Fuji and it was good
I bottled the juice and took it to work. when I opened the top to drink it, it smelled like gas had been passed

prep time definitely not 5 minutes, though. it took me about 20 minutes, washing, chopping, and cleanup

She used Gala apples. Said you could also use Red Delicious but she used Gala. The green juice doesn't look appetizing but it tastes great, especially over ice, as she recommended. Will make again, enjoyed this and felt great after drinking.

She did not use granny smith apples. She said they were too tart!! I think it was McIntosh apples!! This was fantastic!! I might use 1/2 of a lemon next time as well!!

Does anyone remember if she used granny smith apples? I wish there was video of this episode. Can't find it anywhere. I think I recall her using granny smith apples.

Love it! So easy and deliscious. On the show, Giada used a whole lemon. I used a whole lemon as well, but next time will only use 1/2. Still came out good though. I did omit the ginger because I'm not a big fan of it. This recipe is a keeper.

This was amazing. The green color gives you a little pause but the taste is excellent. I tasted the spinach juice as it was coming out. It was awful, so i was worried,. But the applies, ginger and lemon provided the right balance. It is now my go-to vegetable juice. Thanks Giada.

Really enjoyed it. It was my first time using a juicer and this was simple. I agree! I'll use a smaller piece of ginger next time. At least that's what my 3yr old asked. He sipped it until done :

I saw this episode right before I was about to have my wisdom teeth removed, so it was really great timing! I bought a juice immediately after seeing this episode, because I've had juices like this before, and I knew it would be worth it. This juice was great: great flavor, great texture (a little thick, like V8, and perfect for sneaking in an extra vegetable or two. We had a red bell pepper lying around, so we threw that in too. My boyfriend is pretty sensitive to ginger, and he thought it was pretty good, but we might use a smaller piece next time, or shake up the juice afterwards. All in all, definitely worth trying!

This was the first juice I made with my juicer. It was excellent! The ginger gave it a nice spiciness. I gave some to my 15 mo. old on a spoon and he loved it too! On TV Giada put the whole lemon in the juicer...just be careful, some juicers (like mine require you to peel citrus fruits.
