I have made this three times since discovering this recipe and highly recommend it for a change from traditional pizza toppings. I used naan bread as the base to make individual pizzas and also used basil since I didn't have arugula. WOW! So easy to make. I will definitely be making this for years to come.

I made this pizza for my husband, who had never had acorn squash before. He's tried a roasted butternut squash soup and didn't care for it. This pizza changed his mind about winter squash. It's sweet, spicy, and filling.

This was amazing. Awesome beyond beleif. It's become a staple at my house. Except that it was a little too sweet for my taste. How can I make it not as sweet?

My first time making this recipe and my mother and I love it. We used mixed greens on top because we couldn't find what the recipe called for. I will make this recipe over and over again because it was so good.

I tried this tonight....I didn't have gorgonzola so I used feta cheese, but it was absolutely delightful! The acorn squash in my garden are ripe and ready to use and I had no idea how to cook them....saw Giada make this pizza with the squash and thought it an odd combination, but the flavor is wonderful! Have had great success with Giada's recipes...Thank you Giada!

Has anyone tried making the pizza ahead of time - assembling (minus the arugula, of course - then reheated just prior to serving? I'm thinking of taking it to a potluck type event....

First of all, I love this recipe! After striking out at the the grocery store on my hunt for pizza dough, I called the local pizza shop and asked if they sold pizza dough. Surprisingly they did! It was so fresh and yummy!

For Marie: if your local market carries Pillsbury products, check in the refrigerated section for a product named "Pizza Crust Classic." It comes in a can just like ready to bake biscuits and the such.

For everyone: The recipe is superb - interesting and savory with a swirl of different flavors. In reading, I saw a few reviewers who disliked the gorgonzola cheese. If you don't like regular gorgonzola, perhaps try substituting gorgonzola dolce, a younger, milder version of the same. If that doesn't work, you can substitute a mix of feta and herbed goat cheese, but the original flavor combination will be muddled. And while I haven't tried it, micro arugula might work well for bite-sized bits, but baby arugula works just fine. Regardless, this pizza is light, lovely, and fun!
