The combinations were very interesting but very flavorfull. I did ad a little olive oil on top of the pizza at the end. Another hit for Giada. Thank you so much for all of your great ideas.

Giada has a way of combining unusual ingredients for a fresh take on old favorites. The acorn squash, gorgonzola, maple syrup, and pepper flakes are so flavorful together. I love the combination of sweet and hot, with the creamy cheese to balance it out. This was the first Giada recipe I ever made, and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I really like this recipe. I add diced chicken to make it more of a complete meal, and use store bought pizza dough for ease. One time I didn't have arugula so I substituted basil. My husband and I decided we like it better with the basil. The sweetness of the basil really compliments the sweetness of the squash. I love gorgonzola cheese, so this is a winner!

The pizza would be good without the squash. It adds a very strange flavor.

We had this pizza last night at our book club meeting.. It was a huge hit.. Our friend substituted the gorganzola for feta.. also spring mix for arugala.. the only problem was that i couldnt stop eating it! !

I made this recipe for a party and everyone loved it! The only thing I did differently from the recipe is I used a bit less of the red pepper flakes.
Wonderful recipe! It will definitely become a staple around my house!

I made this for a lunch with my mother in law and her friends. They were all impressed with the wonderful flavor of the gorganzola and the sweet squash. I only used 1/2 of the squash and a little less of the cheese after reading the reviews, and! I used frozen braead dough for the pizza dough and it worked out great.

This is a great pizza! As others have said, you must like Gorganzola cheese. If you don't, you will not like this pizza. I also must say that you also have to like really sweet stuff because the squash comes out very sweet. I think the combo between the gorganzola and sweet squash is really nice. I could never eat the squash prepared this way alone, it would be too sweet, but it's great with the cheese! So....if you like cheese this is a great pizza to try out

Since I had some leftover squash in the fridge, I decided to see what other ingredients I had available to make this pizza; it turns out, not many! So I made my own variation of the pizza that was amazing (as I'm sure the original is. I eliminated the syrup as I do not like syrup, used pecorino instead of Gorgonzola, and baby spinach instead of arugula - and it was fantastic! We just ate it last night for dinner and I'm craving more!!! Thanks for the ideas Giada!
