    for those that say the prosciutto made their dish too salty, it's important to ask to try a slice of it from the deli before you buy it!!!! i purchase mine from the italian market by my house, and theirs is much nicer than what is sold at the grocery store. but if you can, ask to try it before you buy it! it can make or break your meal! i, too, don't like salt to be the MAIN flavor of my dish!!!!! not all prosciutto taste the same!!!! hope this suggestion helps!!!! happy cooking :

    I loved this recipe but added a thin layer of chevre cheese mixed with lemon zest, tarragon and chives to the proscuitto before grilling. It was the BOMB.....

    I had never roasted asparagus before as we only steam it but this recipe was easy to do, had an impressive presentation, and tons of flavor. The prosciutto is a little salty for me and has an intense flavor but it paired nicely with the asparagus. I'll be making it again on Thanksgiving.

    Very simple & makes a very nice presentation. Just make sure not to overcook the asparagus- 15 minutes is a bit too long in my oven.

    I love asparagus! The prosciutto made for great presentation, but next time I'll leave it off. I could only get prepackaged from the store so I don't think the proscuitto was as good as it could have been and what it was ment for this recipe. The the roasted asparagus was amazing!

    Made these for a group of girlfriends as an appetizer and they got rave reviews. The colder your prosciutto the easier it will be to cut and wrap.
