I cooked the roast on my gas grill rotisserie instead of in the oven. Wow! The meat was tender, juicy and very tasty. The basil-curry mayonnaise was the topper that sent the flavor of the roast over the top! It?s easy to prepare and just as easy to cook. In the oven or on a rotisserie, this recipe is excellent! Thanks Giada. Your recipes are making me into quite a good cook!

I made mayonnaise, cutting the curry to 1/4 teaspoon. it was wonderfull.
I use Tenderloin as it is the best cut of meat for the money.. all meat no fat or bone and is always tender. My family all raved about the coating and next time I will try marinateing it per one other comment.
I have made several of your recipes and have never had a bad comment on any of them, Keep up the good work.

I made this for New Year's Eve and got rave reviews from everyone. The only change I will make next time is to cut the salt in half - it was too salty for my husband and myself. The basil curry mayonnaise is divine and I will now make it just to have around. One of my guests even put it on her mashed potatoes and it was the perfect condiment for the sandwiches we made from the leftovers on New Year's Day. Definitely a keeper.

Only after I covered up the 80 dollar tenderloin with curry and mayonnaise, did I realize what a terrible idea that was. I love curry and the mayonnaise was good, but never on a beef tenderloin. I would not recommend this for any quality cut of meat. If you do decide to go out on a limb, decrease the amount of mayonnaise and cumin in the recipe. Simply put, it's just too much mayonnaise and cumin.

I tried it before making it for Christmas and we really liked it! Everyone loved it and it has a very holiday feel with the spices on it! Also very easy! We are even thinking of making for New Years with a new group of people. Recommend it for sure!

This recipe it just so mouth watering, you will not be disappointed if you try it. I made it exactly as the recipe calls for and it was heavenly. My guests LOVED IT. They raved about it all night and the leftovers were moist and tender also. The only reason there were leftovers is because I made a extra large beef tenderloin and only fed 6 people. Giada, you are awesome! What a meal! I will use this on other roasts in the future. This could be the BEST beef roast I ever made. I paired it with Ina's smashed potatoes & sauteed carrots along with Emerils' Braised green beans and bacon. It was a memorable meal. Thank you Giada, for making me look like a chef! Also, you should try her Hazelnut Cinnamon Buns, yummy! I made those for breakfast!

Followed the recipe for the most part, however here are a few modifications. I rubbed the spices into the tenderloin and vaccum sealed it and let it set at room temperature to marinade for two hours. Then wrapped it in foil and baked until medium well doneness. The flavor in the meat was incredible, however the sauce is what REALLY makes this dish complete. WOW, what a bright savory combination. An expensive meal, however, it made for a wonderful Christmas dinner. Thanks Giada!!!

I made this for Christmas dinner. I followed the the directions exactly and it was wonderful! Very tender and flavorful. Almost melt in your mouth. The Basil Curry Mayo was also wonderful. My guests loved it. I also made Robin Miller's twice baked potatos with it, along with asparagus, salad and home made bread. The beef was the star of the show. Thanks Giada!

This will definitely be a new holiday tradition in our household. The seasoning on the beef and the mayo sauce was a hit! My husband couldn't stop going back for more.
