Very tasty and so easy....I used regular garden tomatoes and I mixed the olive oil with the parmesan and bread crumbs prior to spooning onto the tops of the tomatoes so the topping would pack together and stay on the top. It worked well. I did bake longer, perhaps 35 minutes.

This recipe is a snap to whip up for an impromptu get together, a major crowd pleaser, everyone thinks I actually know what I'm doing in the kitchen:

Simply delicious! Easy to make, and I'm somewhat of a novice. The wife & daughter both loved them. I did add a little parmesan to the gorgonzola & breadcrumb mixture, and also topped with a little shredded mozzarella which browned up nicely. Yes, they're a little bit messy to eat, but certainly worth the effort. Will definitely be making this again!

This was one of the first recipes I saw Giada make. I was excited to cook it, but for some reason it didn't work for me. It's a very simple and good recipe, but the tomatoes were so hard to eat and always fell apart, after making it numerous times. On her show they show her friends eating it with no issues. So maybe the cook time is a little too long. Maybe pull them out of the oven a few minutes early to prevent the tomatoes from becoming mushy.

So delicious. I skipped the marinating and just added the garlic to the bread crumb mixture. Very fresh and flavorful.

Loved this. Next time I may not add salt because the cheese is a bit salty. Wish people would rate the recipes and not change everything about the original before they rate it.

I tried this with a family that won't eat gorgonzola so I used half parm half mozzarella and I sprinkled fresh basil over it as it came out of the oven. I love it but think the sharpness of the gorgonzola would be better.

I used grated parmesan and just mixed in the chopped parsley with everything else. My 4 year old loves these, she ate 4 tomatoes alone! It's a good way to get good veggies into your kids because the tomatoes are sweet after roasting. Great recipe and will definitely make often!
