I made these this afternoon for a party I'm going to this evening (saw it the other day on Giada's show. The recipe is very easy to follow and the ingredients are not expensive, especially in the amounts needed for the recipe. I couldn't find Gorgonzola at my local grocery and didn't have time to head to our gourmet market, so I used regular crumbled blue cheese. The puffed up beautifully and browned a little on top--look delicious when fresh baked. I was eager to taste one! They have an unusual flavor, combining the salami and blue cheese, but I like them. Very savory. The nice thing about the blue cheese is that it melts a little in the biscuit and is kind of a surprise in your mouth. : I am curious to add the raspberry jam, as she did on the show and interested to see what my friends think of them. I also think you could add fresh rosemary or a little cayenne pepper for a different twist.

I made these little biscuits for my weekly dinner club and they were a huge hit. I'm not trying them with a bit chopped fresh rosemary, salami and bellavitano. Very good as well. Try them! They're a sure win.

I don't know how it would be possible for these biscuits to not be flavorful! .After reading the reviews I decided to double the salami/ gorgonzola amounts and frankly I thought that was almost too much. Nevertheless, they turned out fantastic, and I have to admit the strawberry preserves (as odd as it sounded to me... were soo good with them! I think next time i'll go with the original proportions and I'm sure there'll still be plenty of flavor.
So simple to make and turns out delicious!

My familiy loves these biscuits. I have experimented with differnt types of cheeses and hard meats. Great with any meal or for a snack. The oven is ready to go..popping a batch in and can't wait until they are ready to eat.

These biscuits are VERY delicious! We have them at every holiday get-together and have introduced them to every other type of party as well because they are so easy to make and yummy. Adding more salami and cheese would make them extra delicious!

Following the recipe exactly except adding more cheese as recommended by others, these turned out absolutely tasteless - and no, I didn't forget the salt. I don't know what happened. All I can say is thank gosh my company knows I can cook, but we all felt these were so bad, that even the birds would reject them if I threw them out. Giada's recipes are usually right on - this was not even close to the target.

These savory biscuits are yummy especially with the strawberry jam. I doubled the gorgonzola cheese and added a little more salami.

I made these to go in food baskets I gave as Christmas gifts this year and everyone loved them. They were so tasty I made another batch for my family. I will make again.
