It was awesome, we always have salmon in my house, and I did this recipe, my mom, dad and I love it. I did no had Shallots so use pearl onion, and a did not had the big tomatoes so I use cherry tomatoes, and it came out very good.

Super easy, super delicious! My son, who told me he HATES salmon, doesn't even like the smell of it, ate it and loved it. So I have to give this 5 stars...will absolutely make this a regular on my family menu!

I made this recipe at a date's house for the first time where I had very little to work with as far as gadgets and ingredients. I LOVED the fresh tomato mixture so much I was hesitant to bake it with the fish, but was so pleased with the results. My only addition was some kalamata olives which added a little extra saltiness. The salmon was a perfect match with wilted spinach and butter-fried polenta cakes. It turned out so well, I wanted to date myself!

Absolutely the best salmon dish I have ever tasted. As a fan of citrus, I added the zest from the whole lemon to the tomato mixture.

One of my favorite salmon recipes. I've made it several times with canned tomatoes. Currently trying it with a mix of fresh tomatoes---brown tomatoes (Kumato and cherry tomatoes.

I have been making this dish for several years now. It is easy, elegant on the plate, and extremely tasty. I do not add salt, and I use no-salt tomatoes. Instead of brushing the fish with oil, I add a lesser amount of oil to the shallot/tomato mixture and also grind more fresh pepper than the recipe calls for. We double the recipe and cook a large piece of salmon.

It comes out perfectly every time. Great for a family dinner or to put out on the table at a party.
