Easy to make and great flavor. Next time I would sprinkle salt on BOTH sides of the fillet as well as the tomato mixture.

Simple and delicious! I was skeptical of tomatoes with salmon, but it really works! Based on other reviews, I baked at 375. And because my fillets were < 1 inch thick, 20 minutes was enough time.

Fantastic! The only thing i changed was replacing the oregano with fresh basil. My boyfriend was raving about how wonderful it was on facebook! Definatly a keeper of a recipe!

I tried this recipe last night n I loved it...Mind u I'm not a Salmon lover at all, but this recipe is so favorful...I didn't have any lemons or shallots on hand instead I added garlic n 1/4 of butter...this is my new way of making Salmon. Thanks Giada

Giada. AMAZING.
I once had something like this as a child, and I was so happy to find your recipe. I make this once a month, and when I do, the entire family always shows up! I pride myself for always feeding the family with healthy meals, and sometimes it's hard to find recipes that the entire family enjoys. The only modification that I made was adding just a dash of balsamic vinegar to the shallot/tomato mixture, and letting it set for about 20 minutes before placing on the fish and baking. Overall its an amazing dish, and it lives up to the five-star rating.

This was the first time I have ever made salmon, and it was just like how they make it in the restaurants. The fish came out perfectly moist and well seasoned, I recommend this recipe to anyone who loves salmon because of how easy and delicious it is.

Amazing salmon recipe! I added garlic, capers and a little bit of red chili flakes for a bit of heat, and oh my the taste was amazing! Also after reading the reviews I cooked the fish at 380 instead of 400 and only for 18-20min (only made half the amount as well. The fish was flakey and not chewy at all. Love love loved it and so it hubby! Definitely restaurant quality. Will be making again! You rock Giada!
