    This was one of the best dishes I have made in a long time except I couldn't find the correct wine so I used a Merlot instead and it was GREAT

    I couldn't believe something so easy to make could be so good. My husband doesn't normally like peppers but loved them in this. He has already asked me to make it again. The crushed red pepper gives the dish a nice kick. I would definately recommend this.

    These will undoubtedly become a staple in our home. The sauce is great - and makes them a little more special than your typical sausage sandwich with grilled onions. Yum!

    The recipe was awesome. All wonderful flavors. I recommend getting good bread though. I couldn't find the recommended bread, just what my local grocery store had in the bread aisle. The sausage, peppers and onions were so juicy, the bread just fell apart. Great as left overs too.
