This is good as a sandwich, but my family prefers it served over mashed potatoes - delicious!

Simple and delicious. I used hot Italian pork sausage because it's what I had, so I skipped the chili pepper. So easy and full of flavor. I served it over some garlic beer bread I made earlier that day.

Absolutely fantastic! My husband is a fabulous cook and makes his own version of sausage, onions and peppers which is very good. Last night, I made Giada's version for him and he raved about it and said this has to go on our regular rotation. That's how good this is!!!

Very tasty!I have made this several times and my family loves it. I've used sweet, hot and a combo of the two Italian sausage peppers and it was always good tho some varieties of hot sausage didn't need the extra red pepper flakes. We also start out with this as sandwiches and any leftovers end up over pasta. Makes my Italian friend's version taste very plain.

Outstanding recipe. The marsala wine added such a great flavor, as did the basil and oregano. This one's a keeper, like all Giada's recipes.

Loved it - although the turkey sausage wasn't so terribly flavorful, but I really didn't expect it to be - I also grilled, instead of pan fried, the sausage, which may have made a taste difference. I will definitely make this again, over and over. Got rave reviews from others.

These were GREAT. If you are ever craving one of those Italian sausages at a street fair or festival, this is the recipe for making it at home. It's just like it.

Fabulous! I made exactly as written and then made another version using real pork italian sausage (homemade by a relative - the real deal. Served it at a dinner party and the serving bowls and plates were empty at the end of the evening! The flavors are amazing. Serve in a wide brimmed soup bowl with some crusty bread instead of serving sandwich style, a good chianti to accompany and a lovely tiramisu or some simple gelato for dessert and you are a star! Thanks Giada!

Outstanding, I've made this several times. The last time with hot italian sausage and I didn't have marsala, so I used Port and it was great, rave reviews!
