I made this for a buffet and got rave reviews. Delicious. The only change I made was to add a bit more sausage than the recipe called for.

I just made this and loved it! I love a traditional sausage and peppers sandwich like the ones you can get at a fair or food market but I wanted to see what else was out there. This recipe caught my eye and I must say I am thrilled it did! After reading reviews on the way home from getting peppers and onions I decided to use the ketchup instead of paste and half a raw tomato instead of canned. In addition I cooked the sausage in the oven in a glass dish so I could cook the peppers etc at the same time. Amazing taste, thank you Giada.

I love this recipe! Its so easy to remember and everyone loves it! Always a hit with my family even though I use regular pork sausage.

I made this recipe a few weeks ago. My husband and I loved it. I did use hot turkey italian sausage though because that is what I had in the fridge. I'm sure it's good with the sweet as well.

I've made this recipe many times. It's fantastic. Fantastic! It takes longer to make than the receipe calls for. Probably more like 30 minutes+ to really carmelize the sausage and pepper mix. Definitely don't skip the marsala. I left it out once because I didn't have any, and it made a difference.

Awesome. I can't use words to explain how delicious this recipe is, you just have to make it. It's my go-to recipe when I just don't want to deal with a new recipe or if I need something that I know will be delicious. I have made this more times than I can remember. Make it, you will not be disappointed!

Loved the taste...first used it as a soup/stew with crusty french bread, the next time I used it over pasta...wonderful flavors. My only problem was when I put the sausage in the heated olive oil, it made a huge, splattered mess all over the stove and everything around it...next time I may skip the olive oil until I put in the vegetables.

Made this last night and it was wonderful!! I followed the recipe to a "T" except for 2 small changes... I used sweet Italian sausage and after plating up the sausage, peppers and onions I topped it with mozzarella cheese and put it under the broiler to melt. Thank you Giada for a great recipe!

Made this last night. Very seldom do I make something where I'm mentally making tweaks for the next time I make it as I'm eating it. This was one where I won't change a thing. It was perfect the way it was. I forgot to get tomato paste, so sqirted in some ketchup. Used sweet italian Johnsonville brats, otherwise followed recipe as written Added a few red pepper flakes, heat was perfect. My wife ate it on bread, I ate it as a soup. We both loved it. This one is definately on our keeper list.

I watched the show and tried my best to concentrate on the cooking (food. I used sweet italian johnsonville brats and the good sweet marsala. My oh my! The obstacle was my sauce; too much. So we ate them open face on egg noodles and I was king. This is now my (weekly tailgating staple and the first to go every time. Must try!
