Tried this recipe and loved it. I used 1 red pepper, 1 orange pepper, 1 yellow pepper and 1 onion and it was very delicious. Have incorporated this recipe into our monthly menu.

Excellent; however, I doubled the garlic and added sauteed mushrooms to improve upon this classic comfort, Italian street food. You can see my photo results on my blog: La Bella Vita blogspot. Ciao!

Love this! I've made it several times. The first time I did it on hoagie rolls, it was kind of soggy, but we LOVED the flavor. This time I did it, I served it over penne pasta with some parmesan. MUCH better this way. I will probably try it again and alter it some to serve on rolls, but the pasta version is delightful!

Just great, 4 stars all the way. One of the best I've tasted. Thanks to the reviewers which warned me about the amount of liquid, keeping it down, so not to make it runny. Used red wine instead of marsala, very rich flavor. Giada always has a home run recipe.

I've made this twice, once with Marsala wine and spicy pork sauage and once with mild pork sausage using chix broth (because I didn't have Marsala wine handy. I think I like the wine version better as it gives it a little more flavor but either way both are super yummy. Next time I will make it with Turkey sausage.

After reading many of the reviews, I was concerned that this might be a bit too runny for my taste, especially if using with rolls. I used 2 pounds of sweet and hot Italian sausage. I used the 2 tbsp of tomato paste (as it calls for and only half a can of diced tomatoes, without the juices. I did use the marsala wine as the recipe suggests. Given these modifications, it was incredible! My guests absolutely loved it. This was the perfect consistency. Enough liquids to give it flavor, but not runny. Definitely will make this again.

I've doubled the amount and served it at house parties buffet style and everyone loved it.

I have made this at least 5 times now, and love it...very easy, and full of flavor! Giada never disappoints.

I've always made sausage & peppers using jarred spaghetti sauce. Never again! This has a much richer, deeper flavor. Great!

I made this today. I used red onions instead of yellow and used three smaller peppers (yellow/red/orange instead. Everything else I did the same. I thought I'd need to add a little Parmesan cheese on top of the sandwich, but it was so flavorful I didn't need to!
