The only flavor in this dish is the crushed red pepper. Prepared the way the recipe says, the couscous in undercooked and bland despite the drill of pureeing the onions and carrots.

I made this for my husband's birthday dinner for 2 adults and 4 teenagers with full appetites and even after some had 2 portions still had some left. It made a beautiful presentation with just the right amount of spice and lemon. Will definately make again as it was a crowd pleaser.

I love this dish. My guests loved it. The lemon juice made it even better.

the cous cous was so good and the shrimp are like a topping. i would also make the cous cous as a side without the shrimp or make extra sauce from the shrimp and put it over pasta.

This is a great all-purpose recipe! I've made it for everything from family dinners to potlucks to dinner parties, and it is always very well recieved! To save a ton of time, I usually make the broth for th couscous the night before, so that it takes about 10 minutes to put together right before serving!

I've fixed this several times and my wife and I love it. The first time I prepared it, I couldn't find 8 oz cans of tomatoes so I used a 28 oz can. We liked it and continue to make it this way. Recently my sister-in-law made it using the orignal recipe and said it was too dry so she is going to use the large can also. I also double the garlic, but that's just me.

This is one of the best recipes I've ever made. It was so good that we had the same meal two nights in a row and again the following week. What an amazing way to make couscous. Giada is a genius.
